Hello All,
I recently discovered Dosbox and I'm having a good time replaying some of the great games from my youth. And before I get too old to handle a joystick I want to make some videos for friends and family. But unfortunately I'm running into some recoding issues. Usually when recording the game runs fine for a few minutes then the first problems start with the sound cracking up and it gets worse from there with things almost grinding to a stop. Strangely enough the recoding plays and sounds fine. I've tried several suggestions I found in this forum I even installed an extra hard drive especially for recording. But so far no luck. I've also read something about a SVN patch unfortunately that patch has to be compiled by yourself but there is no compiler on my Windows XP computer. Nor would I know how to do it, and moving to Linux is a bit extreme for me. So my question is; Is this patch the solution for my problem and are there compiled patched windows versions available for download on the internet. Or is there perhaps another solution to my problem?
Thanks.
