Update:
Can’t get this system to post! Here is what happens. I get 1 beep followed by 2 beeps (Bad or no display) then, constant rapid beeps (overheated cpu)
Here is what I have tried so far.
Two differnt PSU
Two different GPUs that work (Starting with no GPU results in same issues)
With 1 stick of 256mb that has made a trip in each slot which changes nothing. I tried removing the RAM (All I get is long beeps, which is to be expected)
I have tried to reseat CPU, replaced CMOS battery with new one, manually dropping the FSB to 66 to try and get it to POST. Nothing! I removed the CPU and turned it on and got nothing, which is to be expected. This only components attached are CPU, RAM and GPU and a keyboard and VGA connector.
This could be a bad CPU or Mobo.
Thanks Ebay, looks like I might have to drop serious money into a P3B-F version >=1.03
