BTW, have you edited MSDOS.SYS as instructed in the previous page? If you haven't then it's highly advisable that you do; it makes testing so much easier in DOS.

Start with:

1) Delete both entries in DOSSTART.BAT:
C:\WINDOWS\CTCM
C:\Progra~1\Creative\CTSND\AWEUTIL /s

2) Delete this in AUTOEXEC.BAT:
C:\WINDOWS\CTCM

Then run DIAGNOSE.EXE in C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\, and test. If okay, then save at the prompt. This should update your files.

Then run the sound setup for BLOOD, test and run game. See how you get on. If having issues still, post the contents of the above files again.

There is no diagnose inthe Creative file.

Delete these in AUTOEXEC.BAT:

Download this:

... And extract to C:\, so that you have C:\AWE64DOS, then run DIAGNOSE.EXE from that directory. Then follow what I posted above.

Could you put that in a zip?

I don't have Winzip installed. IIRC, it should be able to extract .rar files. If not, Winrar is available online.

I think I fixed it by setting the IRQ to 7...
