Hi everyone,

I would like to first thank all the developers who must have worked hard to release this great software, for a while I was stuck with Super Street Fighter 2 not having any music or sound (It is a complete DOS game, no windows in it).

However, VDMSound let me have this. Unfortunately my Midi is very quiet, it can hardly be heard, but sound is as loud as it should be.

I'm running windows 2000.

Adjust your midi volume (using windows mixer). I think VDMSound just redirects midi music to the system midi interface (it can even be swapped among different ones, system default, preferred device, etc). Check your windows midi configuration first.

Hi there,

Thanks for your help. I had a good play around with all my volume control options and unfortunately, sounds are played back loudly, but midi is played back quietly. I haven't noticed this issue on other games that use midi (I've tested it on Doom95).
