* mobo FIC AN19C
* cpu AMD 1800+
* Amount and type of RAM - 512 mb ddr 2700
* Video board w/ RAM amount and type Geforce 3 64 mb ddr
* Sound board - integrated ac97 audio
* Operating system - windows xp
* Game name (and version, if applicable) - Tie Fighter CD
* Description of problem -
I am having a problem running the setup for tie fighter cd. When I run it, the window stays completely black and nothing happens. Dosbox can install the game but playing the game with dosbox is too slow. VDMSound neither windows xp dos emulation could run the tiefighter cd setup or the game. What's stopping me from seeing a picture? What kind of installed programs prevent me from seing graphics in dos? How can I find them and remove them?

Ok I have fixed my problem after searching the forums a bit. I found vgafix.exe in here and ran the program. It now works.
