I was mind blow when I tested this software, it played quite well over the pc speaker and over opl3 it sounded like an am radio 😳...
This is the software : http://www.multimediaware.com/qv/download.htm , it can play many video formats and audio formats over ms-dos, but I got actually impressed by the speaker and aldib drivers.

So is my non yamaha opl3 special or does it indeed works with any opl3 sound card?
Also, just for testing, I also tested that software over dosbox, pc speaker driver sounded like a real sound for some reason, and opl3 sounded like a trash 😖

Maybe with that software it's possible to get the opl3 notes and make some badass opl3 music? heh
