Hi,
I'm looking for something that could run on my Surface tablet, with Windows 8.1 RT .
So far the only 'dos emulator' I found, isn't very good (FKDOS).

You need downgrade from Windows RT 8.1 to 8.0. (look at "XDA" forum)
Jailbreak it.
Run anything you want like "DOSBox for Windows RT"
If you don't want to mess with such stuff or risk to get a brick - gift that sh..t to your grandma for skyping and get a normal tablet.
I really liked it for the battery life it offers.
Together with a keyboard, meant for the pro-series, I get a real "all day" battery out of it, no matter what I do (except heavy gaming, which lasts about 6 hours only).
No x86 pc or laptop, without an overly large battery can do that!

I suppose there are Android devices which have close battery life, while having much wider software choice. Also I'd look to a side of normal Win tablets, maybe some will fit your needs too. Software support of RT is close to nothing, and seems like no devices are producing now.
