Aztech FCC ID: I38-MMSN853
A few years ago I got a free computer. I set up Windows 98 on it, then had to move, stored the computer away, and didn't do anything else with it until now.
I'm trying to identify the sound card that's inside it.
It doesn't seem to have the specific model written on it anywhere.
The FCC ID is I38-MMSN853
But according to ftp://ftp.aztech.com/support/DOWNLOAD/sg/index.txt
that number could mean three different cards

WRIDER96 Aztech Waverider Platinum-3D PnP Card Updates - FCC-ID:I38-MMSN853
The Web Archive for Aztech also lists three cards. Since the sizes of the driver downloads are different, the three cards don't seem to have quite the same drivers.
Windows 98 identifies the card as "Aztech Audio" which is too general to mean very much.
The hardware ID is ISAPNP\AZT2320_DEV0001\00000003
but I haven't been able to find a model associated with that -- only drivers from sites that try to get you to install their adware-laden "installer."
Although Windows 98 detects the card and allows it to make noise in Windows, there are no DOS drivers configured -- and I'd like to be able to play DOS games with this computer.
The card has an IDE interface on it, but I have no idea if it is active or not. There is a jumper on the card, but it's nowhere near the IDE interface so may be for something else.
