I googled around quite a bit but couldn't find anything about the subject. Is there any solution to make Geforce2 or Geforce4 cards behaving under Windows 3.1/3.11?
All I want is something better than standard VGA (640x480 16 colors). Anything like 800x600 and even 256 colors at least will be much better. I already tried all the standard drivers supplied with 3.11. Nothing works correctly other than the standard VGA driver (which is 640x480 16 colors). It might be my monitor, too, but this monitor (a semi-wide screen Samsung LCD) is being used for 4 different machines via KVM and has no issues for example with Voodoo3, Matrox Mystique and Millenium, S3Trio64, Oak 067 etc. under Windows 3.11 with their respective drivers)
I'm asking this not for the purpose of constantly using a Windows 3.x rig with Geforce2/4. I have a Windows 98SE machine, which is multiboot for nostalgic reasons and I'd be happy if I could see better display resolutions/color when I boot it into DOS+Windows 3.11.
