You know the ones like game & watch with games like donkey kong etc
that you can hold in your hands but very primitive graphics and discrete graphics as well.

There are definitely "simulators" out there. Google should tell you where to find them.
Actual emulation only became feasible very recently, when someone finally identified exactly what 4-bit processor was widely in use.
You could buy Game & Watch Collection 1 and 2 for NDS.
