i have just upgraded my 386 build (Asus ISA 386-C, Am386DX-40) with a Cx486DLC @ 40MHz. The NPU (IIT 3C87-40) is still in place.
From the CPU score (6.83) it looks good, but Speedsys shows only 11MHz - what's that supposed to mean?
I have unfortunately a 66MHz crystal on that board so all the CPUs ran only at 33MHz anyway...

This is just a Bug.
Speedsys shows only 17Mhz but my DRx2 Cyrix 486 was running 50Mhz (2x25).
Failling Powersupply killed cpu 😒

Being wired to a crystal with no software, firmware or simple logic control able to select or change clocks basically means you have 33MHz no matter what the program says. Unless the board or crystal is defective, but this is not likely to be the case as I expect you'd note serious instabilities.
thanks! I'll maybe open another thread later on how to swap to a 80MHz crystal on that board. someone here once wrote he had the exact same board but with a 80MHz crystal (it even has a place left for it)...
