The US, NY to be exact. Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Tired of the price gouging that goes on at ebay. Just want to hook some collector's up with some titles they may be missing and, at the same time, get some that I'm missing as well.

You can always use Amibay forum.

Tried that. Got zero response. Most of those dudes are from Europe anyway so I can't really trade with them.

Where in NY? Im south of Buffalo, closer to Cattaraugus NY. If I get any big box games, maybe I'll let you know. The only one I have now is "Plix" from the early 90's. Its in the box with the diskette. All my other games are burned or in jewel case 🙁

Yup, mostly the complaints part. There is somewhere a sticky thread about it.
I gave the warning as (as always) people seemed to be eager to trade right away...

It's been a few years since I've done any trading on GameTZ. It worked out well enough for a while, but I had the misfortune of dealing with a total psycho on the last occasion. I was too terrified to even leave him negative feedback as he seemed like the sort who would try to send a mail bomb or something to my home address. His beef was that I neglected to inform him that the shrink wrap on the new unopened game I sent him was not pristine. >_<

So, there's a tip for you: if someone has filed a Bad Trade Report in the past, you should hesitate before dealing with said person.

In the future I'll just stick with eBay. It's not so bad, really.

Ebay isn't bad, but I list my games at half the price of anyone else and they still don't sell. They just languish.

Well, if you want to get rid of them faster, you should lower your prices. Otherwise, there's nothing lost in relisting them over and over and over again.

Any lower and it'll just encourage people to resell. I want to get these into the hands of collector's at a decent price, not just so people with more patience than I can line their pockets.

Well, why shouldn't they "line their pockets" for having more patience than you? You just have to decide for yourself whether the price of your time spent relisting them over and over again is worth more than however much extra money you might make for selling lower.

Ok, good point, but like I said, I'd just rather they get to a collector at a reasonable rate. As someone who just paid $100 for Wolfenstein 3D, I know how painful it can be to be a collector sometimes.

It just gets down to if you want it to sell now, or later. If you feel that your games should go to a true collector, then you should wait. If the games are not being sold at your asking price, it means, even the collectors are not ready to shell out for your asking price.

Like it or not, eBay is the only place you can put up your items for the largest market coverage.

Other place you can try is the vintage computer forum's marketplace:
