The current font looks a bit modern, I like the classic IBM fonts. How do I make VMWare player use IBM classic fonts?
I don't really want to use a TSR. I'd like to have the fonts stored in permanent virtual hardware
Are there any tweaks available in the config file?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Jack

VMware, surprise, surprise, emulates a modern machine with a modern graphics card. If you want old AND authentic, use PCem.

Font-swapping programs aren't really TSRs; they just completely overwrite the font stored in RAM and don't take up any memory that would otherwise be useful for other programs, if that's what you're worried about. (That's why there's no way to "unload" them.)

I suppose if you wanted to change it permanently, you'd have to find out where VMware stores its BIOS ROM and then modify it appropriately. (It might be stored in the .nvram file, but I doubt it.)
