So, there's a game I downloaded from myabandonware. Judging by the comments, you can modify the game into the full version by editing a byte. The exact comment is "You can modify the game into a full version. In the wild.exe change the 0003167A. byte from 02 to 00 and the game will become a Global Explorer Edition. You can create and play on any map and you can restore your saved game."

My issue is, to do this, I need to enable the debugger in dosbox, and I have no clue how to do that. Nothing that I've searched for comes even close to explaining how to do this in any way that I can understand, and I was hoping someone here could explain it to me. I just want to play the full version of the game.
