My motherboard has a PS/2 mouse port that is 1x6, I have the pinout and can match it to the pins on a PS/2 port. However, my PS/2 edge card is 2x4 and I was wondering if there is a pinout for that so I can pull the pins and convert it? I cannot seem to get anything via search because of too much noise. Anyone have the info handy?

Just match the pins, the connector type is irrelevant - it will work fine with correct pinout.

Well the edge connector is shielded until the end of the connector that goes to the motherboard, so I can only see the wires at that point and I don't know which wire maps to which port on the PS/2 connector. So if I had a pinout of a motherboard with that connector, I could map them to the new connector 😀

Use a multimeter and check continuity between the pins on the Mini DIN6 plug and the pins on the connector

I usually do it the barbaric way -that is the safest and fool-proof method- : slice up the cover of the round PS/2 connector to get the pinout visually. (In most cases there is an opaque or transparent plastic casing inside the grey or black shielding)
Better to be on the safe side if you care for your mouse.
