Hi,
Now on Windows 7 with DOSBOX I am trying to run some Ham Radio DOS software from 1990s called HAMCOM. It's a digital communication programme which transmits a receives (via short wave radio) specific tones. There are 2 tones either side of the centre frequency of 1360hz which are received by the radio and passed to the software which converts this to intelligence on my screen. When using Windows 7 DOS this works as it should although there are other issues which made Win 7 unsuitable which explains my move to DOSBOX. Unfortunately DOSBOS converts the centre frequency to circa 500hz which is outside the receive band. I have read the manual but do not feel confident to tinker with the sound options offered. I am using the RS232 port.(Back in the 1990s this software ran well on an XT)😕 Can someone please help me. Brian (Amateur Radio Callsign: ZS5SB)
