Actually. Yes. The case seems like the hardest thing to come by.
As I have only found one asus model, new, for sale in Denmark.
Second hand computers are for mini-itx boards, with only like
4 slots in the back. The price is too heavy for me. 100 to 150 USD.

The rest should be easy to source.

Hmmmm... Should someone actually build "The Hater", seems like a joke wich starts to materialize now. 🤣

Edit:
Regarding cables... There should be none. Actually. The opposite of cable management, and the most dirty cables to be found.
The more wall paint and other stuff on them, the better.

I wasn't suggesting you go and pay big money for a GX board. I paid 15 dollars for the system I have. I don't think I'd call it junk. Even the OEM boards I have are pretty robust, seeing as they still work after being stored stacked on top of each other in a cardboard box. And if something stops working, I either fix it or cannabilize it for parts.

I like to see what I can do with old hardware. I've been running a P200 system for a while now, and for the hell of it, put in a P100 before booting up tonight. A little slower, but hey, I'm still on this site posting this.

Premio 212B motherboard (MSI MS-6112)
Intel PentiumII 333MHz Slot 1 66MHz bus
384MB ECC 66MHz
SIIG ATA133 controller --> Seagate Barracuda 80GB
SIIG Gigabit Ethernet (RTL8169) / USB 2.0 / IEEE1394 controller
ESS 1869 soundcard on board wavetable synth

To me, it's all play. I can't use pre-2010 hardware for anything modern tasks here in Denmark.
If it can't run Win7 and Java at a decent speed, it can not be used for the daily driver.
Most of the communication we danes have with the publich system, can be done through the internet.
And for having a sequre login and doing something sequre enough, you need more recent hardware.
Like when you apply for a new passport or if you have lost the social sequrity card and need a new.
Even the state and other publich institutes, are sending documents in the form of PDF-Documents.
It's all digital here in Denmark now.

This is what I ment by, this is junk at the end of the day. Not as junk in shitty unstable and easily-brakeable.

Hehe.... Yeah, that crossed my mind too the other day.
I actually do not know anything about what Asus branded ISA soundcard that would be better than an AWE64-Gold.
Would be nice, if Asus did V2 back in the day's. Imagine an Asus branded V2-SLI setup. That would be a thing. 🤣
Honestly... Even fanboys back then, had to get other type of brands. And I guess they would have used quality parts.

There is an Asus 3dfx Banshee AGP 😎

Will keep the TNT2 in this build.
In the next week, I will be getting a Voodoo2.
I might use it alongside the TNT2.

Nice build 😀. Not exactly what you're looking for but ASUS did make a Banshee board.
