Ok before I even start , I'm going to ask. Is it ok to post a lot of pictures here provided it's being hosted elsewhere? I took a ton of pictures of a lot of retro hardware I dug out of storage that I thought you guys might appreciate.

I can't see why not, but if its really a lot of pictures you can always put a *Photo heavy* or another similar note on the title as a friendly warning.

Ok cool.

I got a huge stock pile from an older couple and the man had been building computers for 30 years. Most of it was never used and still had the boxes and manuals.

That was about 5 years ago and sadly , I cherry picked what I thought was worth money and scrapped A LOT of IBM 5150 and apple II era expansion cards , dumb move I should have kept them.

But now I know better. below are just the items from the lot that looked interesting and had either the box/driver disks , or manuals. there's a ton I didn't take pics of that is still un used that simply doesn't had any manuals.

Those computer cases near the bottom had motherboards installed , but that's it , they were never used , all were in their boxes still and not even yellowed.

Reason: generated clickable thumbnails

Can you replace the pictures with clickable large thumbnails? The forum does not automatically resize external images, and they are large enough so a good chunk of their right side isn't showing up.

By the way: AWESOME AT cases. I wish I had some in such a state. And stuff like an original Gameblaster! Great haul!

Yeah tinypic doesn't seem to want to give me a thumbnail option. 🤣. If you right click em and view image they show up ok. At least most of then you get the gist of what they are 🤣

If you wish to reduce image size press CTRL and - at the same time. CTRL and 0 to go back to normal.

/\ Yeah, I had forgotten that. Doesn't work on mobile, though. Also, I dread to think how long it would've taken to load on a 3G connection. Weird, though... ImgUR not only gives you options for thumbnails, but also generates the BBCode so all you do is copy and paste and you have a nice linked thumbnail... One would think TinyPic would offer something like that.

Now I could see your second SBLive! it looks a lot like mine! I have some good memories of it. I'm unsure if I'll put it on a Duron system or on a P3, like it originally was. Also, that CompuAdd PC is gorgeous =)

That's a very nice haul... espcecially the AT cases, boxed Game Blaster, and mint condition ancient hard drives.

Wow, do you happen to still have the utilities diskette for that CompuAdd? I have been searching for that forever (or rather a disk image). I too have that same model, but unfortunately without the 3.5" FDD. Please let me know. Thanks!

It came with a giant box of of like 50 different disks and all sorts of software , I imagine it might be in there with it. have no idea how I would get the information off of the 5.25 disk if it's there 🤣

Here's a bunch of new boards that I got in there as well. These however didn't have any manuals or boxes.

I found a flight controller that's still sealed

I few more shots of the cases. They were half built machines that never got finished. All have similar new motherboards in them.
