Asuming you are talking a bout Windows 3.x, yes it will run fine on top of MS/PC Dos 5. I have that seup on my 286.

Not sure what your second question is refering to. PSU? If so Black/black face each other in the center on the mobo.

Red wires apart from each other, black wires in the middle.

Windows 98 has it's own Dos and doesn't need versions 5 or 6 at all.

Just put the image as attachment on vogons........It's a very simple process. That way we avoid flash a stupid popups.

I did it for you in my previous post and yes they are connected correctly.

It's simple process. Down the bottem of the posing page you'll see "Upload Attachments" It's quite easy to do directly off what ever device you took your snap from.

And i got this other problem with the board haveing a couple of of those small front wires the big plug is the bleeper and there is a fan wire i couldnt include because it was to short.

Some mobos have these labled. What is the motherboard type you are using? There should be numbers an letters printed on it somewhere. The hdd lead could either plug into the mobo if it has onboard ide contoller or IDE/multi i/o card or possibly even on the hdd itself.

I got a shot of the motherboard where the pins shal sit, i cant really find what type it is, only the chips say sis on them

Post a pic of the mobo with all the cards pulled. Some one here might know what model it is.

i cant exactly find a model name, only sis on those bigge chips.

Just put a pic of the board, if possible. Other users might have boards that look exactly like it, which would make it easy to identify.

Btw, if it doesn't have a model name on the board itself, it is probably one of those motherboards from cheap brands (PCChips, EFA, Luckytech, etc...). I'd try googling for PCChips boards (like the M598LMR) - as that brand was so widespread that it is relatively easy to find their specs - and compare them.

But why entire board? noting is wrong on that part, but im mostly curius on what pin should those wires placed onto.
