Dark Forces - MPU-401 support in VDMS

Hi!

My system (only what matters):
P4/3 GHz, 1024MB RAM,
WinXP SP2
Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS (latest drivers)
VDMSound v2.1.0 beta
Dark Forces v1.0 Build 1

Now I am using this VDMS on imuse.exe. SB16 support for digital effects works fine, as well as Adlib or OPL4 for music. But when I try to set music to General MIDI or Roland (regardless what address I choose), it won´t work. When I try to test MIDI/Roland music, the setup won´t respond any more.

Does anyone know how to get MPU-401 music working in Dark Forces with VDMS?

This methode is mentioned before I guess but have you tried CLI2NOP from the
SoundFX package? This litle tool forces somehow (don't ask how) the game to run with your souncard settings. Give it a shot maybe it works and if
not, well then you have to seek out for some other rescources...
