I have the perfect emulation for Glide,which is dgVoodoo, but now the only problem is getting the perfect Joystick emulation.

I notice when I use VDMsound with dgvoodoo, it begins to chop and does not run the game smoothly.

I don't understand Speedset and maybe that's where I'm going wrong, but is there anyway I can get it to play out smooth or is there any alternative of DOS joystick emulation?
