Greetings. I recently installed Tyrian 2000 as it has now been available for public download by its creator. The game itself runs fine, but I have problems with the sound.

In the setup, I can enable the music by setting it to MIDI 330 (or something like that). But no option for the sound effects will work.
I read about this program of yours,' what a helpful idea' I thought, and downloaded that. I used the 'Run with VDMS' in the right-click menu on the setup program, and used default settings. But the soundblaster options are unchanged, and are still not recognised.

Can anyone reccomend me some advanced options that might help me out?

I had the same problem, plus the game ran too slowly. I could bypass this by setting the in-game speed to turbo, but the music was still horribly slow, and the controls were choppy. I recommend using DOSBox instead, as I have it running this game perfectly.
