So recently, I got a Steam Controller. However, for it to work for games, you have to have the overlay running... which does not work for Diablo 2. You get nothing. I've tried DirectDraw and Direct3D.

This is with Windows 8.1 and Intel graphics.

Steam Overlay doesn't work with some older games. Try using nGlide or dgVoodoo2.

Wow, that's completely put me off a Steam controller!

Anyway, I had Diablo 2 and Evolve's overlay running quite nicely together by using dgVoodoo2, so that's definitely worth a go, assuming your Intel chipset supports DirectX11 of course.

Hmmm, nGlide works for the game, but the overlay is still broken. dgVoodoo2 will not work at all, presumably because of missing features.

Alright, it works with dgVoodoo 2. I had to switch to another machine for it.
