You may do legally disk images of your software. Just can't give it to others legally. Such is in some countries, at least.
As there should not be copy protection, you may convert nrg to iso or cue/bin and then use imgmount. Or use virtual CD application and then mount virtual disk as an ordinary CD drive.

Run the game on default emulator's settings in 0.74. Check game's sound settings.

Make a bin/cue image of your CD and use imgmount to mount the image.
Change output settings in Dosbox config to test whether it has problems with all outputs

In the end the problem was in my Nvidia's configuration.

I tried this game on dosbox turbo too and i dont know what word use to described a sound problem, im spanish.

Not lag, not slow, just annoying noises when music running.
Beside that the rest run nice.

Dosbox turbo is an unofficial version that is not supported here. You will need to contact the seller of Dosbox turbo.

remember it's a 320x200 low-poly count game that ran in 286+ machines , all done in software

Use a scaler in Dosbox which will make it look smoother...

So best way would be play iOS version. Looks far better. I dont know if can be played with joypad or keyboard.
On Atari webpage i read that it' s free of bugs too.
The other versions, included DOS have bugs? well yeah, its pretty obvious, if atari say it, but what kind of bugs they have i.e? Or they are referring on previous iOS versions?

Anyway, i know that DOS version can be finished, but the porpuse is enjoy it the most possible, something limited this days. It's too old. Not his fault.
In his time was superb.

A litte angry when atari cancelled the remake and make that illumination... I dont like the first too much, but i prefered that of course. I saw the video of the game in beta stage.
Now that im thinking, if many of the stuff showed in the video would be in the final result better that was cancelled.
Is preferable to make a good remake of this game. He deserved it.
Many things must be changed, add or quit, but in a good and appropriate way, keping the essence of the game.

This not worth it. I know that is buggy and have many problems, but would be cool take it a look if is possible, i mean, play it just for test it.

I read somewhere that a group was making a tool that enabled u to run iOS apps on Android (I have this os).
I dont know if was cancelled.

For pc i know ipadian but its a "simulator", run a few apps slow, very limited, useless.
