Has anyone seen the game Mount and Blade? This game supports 2 cpu's and has a DX7 mode.
Hows it handle with a daul P3 setup? has anyone tryied it? The game calls for a 2ghzP4 so I'm gessing that a daul P3 setup should be able to handle it in dDX7 mode.

You can thank nVidia and all the OEM's for keeping DX 7 on life support for such a long time. nVidia sold millions and millions of GeForce 256, GeForce 2, GeForce 2MX, and GeForce 4MX cards to both OEM's and at retail and no software publisher dared to drop support for a long time out of fear of losing customers. The installed base was just too huge to ignore. It wouldn't be until around 2006 or so before the number of DX 7 cards in daily use dwindled to the point where they could finally pull the support plug.
