As the title says ... I'm in SF for a week for a conference and was wondering if there was anywhere interesting in town for finding hardware. Not necessarily strictly vintage computers or games - stuff like music gear, retro electronics, vinyl, etc. Ideas on where to go & browse?

twitch.tv/oldskooljay - playing the obscure, forgotten & weird - most Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:30 PM PDT. Bonus streams elsewhen!

Are you restricted to S.F. itself?
There used to be a lot of that sort of thing over in Berkeley. (Being a University town and all.)
There is a lot in general but it's spread out. In Berkeley it's a bit more concentrated.

There is a local chain out there (greater Bay Area) called Rasputin.
They buy and sell music, games, books and collectables.
Dunno if they still have a lot of vinyl but they used to.
