Ok, so I'm using mok's hacked .exe, which works perfectly on my system except for sound. With some trial and error, I also got sound to work using VDMS. However, when VDMS is active, only the first two video modes are selectable in-game, the other ones are greyed out. If I run it without VDMS, they're all selectable. I even tried manually editing cyb.cfg to force hi-res, but that yielded highly glitchy behavior with VDMS on (I had a very close-up view of the upper-left corner of the screen).

So basically, why would VDMS have any effect on video, and how do I make it not do that?
