Hello!
A while a go I was browsing through older IBM PS/2 pc's on Evilbay and there, one of them (a PS/2 286 model 25 or 30 I believe) had a distinctive version of MS-DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.1 installed on it that caught my eye and that I'd like to find if possible. Maybe someone here can help me identify it please. Thanks in advance!

Basically, the windows 3.1 main logo was splitted in two. One side had the classic IBM OS logo, and the other side the regular windows 3.1 one, very similar to the PS/2 Valuepoint IBM OEM Win 3.1 version (see pics below)

Like this one:

But the IBM logo side looked like something like this instead:

I guess an IBM machine would have IBM PC-DOS on it instead of MS-DOS. (Wouldn't make much of a difference with DOS 5.0.)
The Windows logo could just be a custom logo IBM did, that doesn't mean that the version of Windows 3.1 is any different to the standard one.

The lower screen looks like a system with OS/2.

As already mentioned your system probably only has some custom start screens.

New PC: i9 12900K @5GHz all cores @1.2v. MSI PRO Z690-A. 32GB DDR4 3600 CL14. 3070Ti.
Old PC: Dual Xeon X5690@4.6GHz, EVGA SR-2, 48GB DDR3R@2000MHz, Intel X25-M. GTX 980ti.
Older PC: K6-3+ 400@600MHz, PC-Chips M577, 256MB SDRAM, AWE64, Voodoo Banshee.

Of course the lower screen is from OS2, it's written on there.
Both logos are only used by the OP for comparison, none is the original logo.
