Thinking about getting the aforementioned dell with XP 32bit preloaded. Currently the specs. are:
Core 2 Duo E8400 at 3GHZ
4GB Ram
500GB HD
PCI-e ATI Radeon HD 2400
PSU - unknown but it's a workstation so maybe 300W at least?

Wanting to run late 98/XP games so what would be a good card to replace the Radeon? Don't know much about it, may be good enough as is. Any comments welcome! Thanks.

system wont support 98SE but for XP its great, just remember some games have issues with dual core, I know for say Call of Duty I have to set a dual core computer to 1 core to run it without random bugs that break the game

Is it hard to set a dual core to 1 core? maybe I'd be better off just going to a regular P4 setup?

According to cnet it has a x16 PCI Express slot, Depends on what games your going to play/how hard your going to push it.

Funny thing is I've got a T5500 behind me that I'm taking home from work tonight as well! No idea what's wrong with it, but do know it powers on 😀
