I have that Thinkpad 365ED. It has CDROM and 500Mb HDD. There was Win95 on it, however now, after multiple errors, Wing95 boot screen it lands in DOS.
I want to install 7.1 on it, however CDROM drivers are not loaded.
I tried to pull hdd from it - it is so hard, I would have to pull everything out of it first, just to get to hdd.
What my options are? Luckily, on HDD I still have Dos Navigator. I was thinking about transferring rest of files with LPT cable.
I will move cdrom drivers and autoexec and config.sysy, but how to install 7.10 from it? Should I break the disk into two pasterns, and try to run installation from second one?
Is there a way to format and install dos with lpt port?
If not, I will need to obtain external floppy, which is different then latest Thinkpad floppy port.
