I recently dled New Horizons and Celtic Tales, both of which run directly from the "Koei.com" executable directly after download (no sound setup). I ran them first without VDMSound. The outcomes are random; sometimes I nothing happens and the dos window closes almost instantly, then sometimes it enters the game in full screen where it freezes with a blinking cursor located on a random place on the screen. When i select "run with VDMSound," sometimes the copyright comes up then the window closes, sometimes the "Tip of the Day" box comes up then closes, sometimes I get into the game and the same blank screen happens, but this time I can alt-enter out. Sometimes the same old freeze happens like I mentioned before. Its all very random. I am using VDMsound 2.1.0 Beta. I'd like to get this working w/o using Dosbox if possible (It has worked on my friend's w/ no problem.
