I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but VIA actually had a VIA C3 compatibility list (even though it doesn't mention which exact C3 core is supported by which board). There's a copy on Vogonswiki here, maybe this will help you a bit 😀.

Which of these boards have ISA slots is also important to note, as the advantage of C3 is compatibility with DOS games.

Theres another list which mentions s370 boards with certain features, like Tualatin support and the presence of ISA slots here.

I did start to compile a list of VIA C3 compatible boards and Tualatin capability or ISA slots somewhere on this forum, but it was quick & dirty and I never bothered to finish that list.

I don't think that by simply using both lists one can get a comprehensive list, there's probably also motherboards out there which do work with C3, but are not listed on the VIA list and possibly also motherboards that are listed, but need certain features (like a newer BIOS or a certain board revision) that may be unavailable at this time.

The most interesting are fast C3 (Ezra 1000, Nehemiah 1200) practically compatible MBs with: Intel chipset + ISA and preferably AGP too. And working combinations of C3 compatible slotkets with other boards with similar traits.

I am aware, but that list does not state what boards work with Nehemiah cpu's and is not quit complete. Like how many slot one boards are on that list?
I'm going to make this list more complete once I get the time. I don't see why such a list needs to have isa, agp and chipset. That info is readily advable. But I can add that once I get the time.

Yes I know. Information is sketchy when it comes to which C3 variant is actually supported by which exact boards.
Will be interested in seeing your list nearing completion 😀.

For now I'm going to work just on Nehemiah. When I run out of resources I'll work on the others.
I'm probably just going to stick with cpu-z validations for the most part. I'll make a spread sheet once I get a good list going too.

I'm sure a well made full list will be very useful for some of us.

I tend to agree, would be very useful 😀
