Wizardry Gold missing wing32.dll error

So I downloaded the Ultimate Wizardry Archives and the other games seem to work fine except for Wizardry Gold which when I tried to start the application I got an error message saying it could not find the wing32.dll

I tried downloading a wing32.dll and sending it to the file it shared with the Application, but I still got the same error plus another where I was told the wing32.dll should have been sent to another directory (C:\Windows\System32 if I remember right).

I am very much a noob when it comes to software tech issues and I would appreciate some help. I am also uncertain if I am in the right sub-forum since I am not using DOSBOX here. The other Wizardry games I was using DOSBOX.

That you are having problems suggests you downloaded an illegal, incomplete package. I suggest you purchase the game legally at https://www.gog.com/game/wizardry_6_7 , as illegal software is not supported here.

Yes, but you're not using DOSBox for this game, so why would this be the correct forum?

The error you describes suggest that you need to install WinG package, they used to be freely available in Microsoft download support service but its nolonger available anymore as WinG usages as been discontinued and unsupported by Microsoft since long time ago.
Most games installation usually already includes the winG installation if required, you yeah your download are incomplete (and probably illegal).
