I am having an issue with Leisure Suit Larry 2. I am new to DosBox so this may be something simple. The mouse seems to work but when I click to make him walk he sort of moves then goes back to where he started. In the openening screen I cannot get him to walk into the garage. He will go side to side but not back onto the screen. Arrow keys on the keyboard are the same. I think it's game specific because I am able to play Legend of Kyrandia without any issues. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Tsk tsk. Abandonware is not supported here. If you have problems with something you downloaded from Emuparadise, then ask on Emuparadise.

Either buy the game from GOG, or get the Adventure Game Studio remake. Come back here if you're still having problems.

I didn't know that but does it matter that I purchased the game when I was younger!

There is your problem. "abandonware" games are usually hacked, cracked, ripped or otherwise tampered with in ways that create bugs that simply do not exist with legitimate copies. Besides the legal issues, this is the other reason that it is not supported here.

I'm a bit older now and just searched for the games to play on a raspberry pi. I honestly didn't even know they still sold games from 1988 that are made for dos since you can't play them on a regular computer. I just noticed on my retropie that there was a dos emulator and thought I would try it out.

That's not even an official version of DOSBox, if I'm not mistaken. You will probably find that the game runs without problems in the Windows version of DOSBox. You may want to consider asking on a Retropie forum.

The version of ScummVM on retropie seems to play fine.
