Is there such a thing? And is there any remote possibility that it'd be usable on DOS 3.3? More specifically, an IBM 5150 with an 8088 and a 7Mhz 286 upgrade with 640K RAM.

It seems like such a simple thing... see input from "Button A" send signal for "Keyboard Up Arrow".

... but does it exist?

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

When I read the subject line, I thought you were looking for a program that will see input for "Keyboard Up Arrow" and send signal for "Button A". I don't believe I've ever heard of such a thing.

But yes, what you speak of definitely exists.

Ah, thank you! 😀

I see the title could be read two different ways, but yes, that's what I'm looking for... to use a controller\joystick for a game that is set up for keyboard commands. I have a few games that just have issues with joystick controls but keyboard input is more flexible or works better. Simply having the joystick emulate keyboard inputs should fix the problems.

It looks to me like JoyKeys is the only one that doesn't come right out and say that it needs a much newer system (JoyEmu needs DOS 5.x and a Pentium for some reason).

I can certainly try it out. I hope it works!
