Has anybody ever tried to use a DVI-I passthrough with a Voodoo card? Something like these:

Since DVI-I carries both analog and digital signals, I'm assuming it would work. However, I just wanted to see if anybody else has already tried this before I order a cable.

Thanks

Test it yourself by plugging a monitor directly into the end of the VGA side of that cable. If you get a picture on the screen, it'll work perfectly fine through the Voodoo cards.

Just the other day I used a DVI-VGA adaptor with my Voodoo1 pass through cable. Worked fine.

I don't think anyone has ever cared enough to try it, but I've always been curious about comparing the factory pass-through cable, plus a typical VGA cable to a custom, 5-coax R+G+B+H+V pass-through and VGA cable. I'm just curious if the color will be more vibrant, and what effect it may have on stability at large resolutions, etc.
