I've recently come across an advertisement on a local site where someone is advertising a Sound Blaster AWE 32 PnP CT3960.
There doesn't seem to be much information about this particular model, but it appears quite similar to the CT3980 and also has the CT-1747 chip.
The right hand side of the card (closest to the bracket) appears to have a slightly different layout (more capacitors).

Anyone have any experience with this card? How does it compare to the CT3980?

I have a CT3980, looks very much the same exctept for the extra regulator + caps in the top right corner. maybe its just an earlier revision of 3980?

By the look of it, it spent many winters in the rain and summers in the dust.
Refrain for acquiring this questionable piece of hardware, probably pulled from a junk yard.

EDIT:
CT3960 = 019517
CT3980 = 019527

01 = Revision.
95 = Year
17 = Week.

Yes, my thoughts the same. According to the seller, it's still functioning.
But, since I already have a CT3980, this was more of a curiosity.
