I recently acquired a late era 286 that runs on 30 pin simms. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good memory diagnostic to test it. I tried memtest86 and it locks up, tried gold memory and it locks up as well. I can't get microsoft memory diagnostic to create a disk for me (my main source to transfer 3.5" disks is an external USB drive on win7 machine). Any help on finding a memory tester would be great.

CheckIt 3.0 by TouchStone Software has a RAM tester functionality which runs fine on a 8088 or 80286 system.
