The Turbo C++ 3.0 compiler was running on dosbox on Ubuntu Linux 15.10 and below. But on Ubuntu Linux 16.10 Turbo C++ 3.0 compiler on dosbox kills dosbox window.

Change the configuration under cpu in dosbox-0.74.conf as follows
core=normal
cputype=pentium_slow which are auto by default. Compiler works
