This demo claims to run at full framerate on one.

So... does it? 😁

I've always wondered if that was true or typical demoscene braggadocio. I've never had a slow enough machine to try it out.

I think I used a 386DX-40 for the capture. I don't have a 16 MHz 286 system.

Oh cool, I didn't even know you'd done that second capture. It looks great on 12MHz!
Not the best demo in the world but that must have been some hugely impressive optimization in 1993.
