I am restoring an old HP Kayak XW that I found in an old attic.
The system seems to be working but it refuses to POST without attached fans...

I don't know what the part exactly looks like. It needs 2 pins to connect to the motherboard, but none of my fans are fitting.

This is a database name and description of the part.

Any 2 wire fan should work.

So if you plug a standard fan in does it at least post?

Wouldn't worry much about the "airflow guide" just get a nice efficient fan, it will probably have way better air flow then the HP original.
Or add another fan to help airflow in the case

I have no fan that fits the connector! 😵
