Starting with screenshots showcasing the three camera angles I will have at my disposal when editing.
The camera in the middle was mobile and operated by my assistant. He followed the conversation and generally tried to frame the person speaking.

Whoa. I'm eagerly waiting for the edited version. Interview opportunities like this are pure gold.

Also I'm sad that Adlib Gold never really got going on.

Would it be out of the question to have the Q/A in writing?
I'm not one for watching videos online or off.

Thanks.

Ha! Maybe if you pay for the adderall required.

When I have the edited interview (there's much "fluff" discussion during an interview that needs to be cut) I will have to make subtitles for it. Doing the Q/A in written format will be easy at that point, and I'll do it certainly.

Just checking in - I'm not dead, just work is a bit hectic since December.
Employer keeps sending me to another country each month, and preparation for each trip is taking most of my free time.

Apart from having trouble finding free time, keep in mind that the raw data of the interview totals around 4.5 hours long. Editing that will take a while 😀

Here's a little goodie in the meantime - an original business card.

Nice card, and just to think that I used to work right next door to such an historic place in Boston.

I once did a cover of the "dance beat" he composed, I think he called it parade, on the adlib jukebox.exe, adlib was the first soundcard I got at 8 so it's meaningfull to me,. It's very impersonal and step record edited, so maybe you can use it in your edit. http://junkskool.net/audio.aspx?d=/c_walkingw … ship_parade.mp3 I'm eager to hear of that interview!

edit : haha found that on the internet : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx4BRd5mUEc When it come to heavy dance beat, Chalifour was the man!

Very interesting! That's guaranteed to have some great value for the nostalgic AdLib fans. If you haven't already completed too much of it, I hope you are not planning to overlay a translation over the original voices.

Was there any discussion of successor MediaTrix Peripherals? I know that Mr. Chalifour did some work for them, too.
