Have you ever come across some listings on EBay while browsing that just boggled your mind, and made you think, who the hell would pay this much for something this stupid?

The first major one i have ever come across is an IBM PS/1 that is not proven to be working for 1000 dollars.

Yes, this is not a joke, and the last time the listing was updated was LITERALLY a year ago (Happy birthday, nutjob).

I also found this, but it's possible it's worth this much. I just don't see it though.

Unless that's something amazingly rare, I wouldn't pay that unless it was serial 1 off the line in original shrinkwrap box signed by god himself, but who knows, I don't know how good the card actually is.

I have seen some amazing stuff, and I mean really amazing. I have seen Socket 3 boards that look like they have been freshly exhumed

I mean seriously, I would pay 0 dollars for that with a guarantee that if I can't get it to work they take it back. However, I do have this board (Not the same one, but same model) in pristine condition, and it's amazing.

And on the sad side of things, check this crap out.

It pains me to see what I can honestly say is the most BEAUTIFUL processor that has been created, just thrown in a pile with buggered pins. I would love to make a 4 CPU Pentium Pro build one day, maybe using
the expanded memory abilities.

Would love to see some of what you have seen over the years, I am sure there have been more than person to find the occasional nutjob selling crap for cash.

Well it is sold so I guess some one is willing to toss 200+ bucks for a 486 CPU in unknown condition.
Guess how much I bid on this item 😊

If you bid 200+ USD for a 486 DX2-66, you are stupid. I'm sorry, but you are. You can be used in a general or direct case here.

But wow.

Wow I guess I had shredded some 200 dollars worth of HDD PCB.
