I bought a asus nct-d to replace my dead one. I had it setup on a bench, replaced a burnt out cpu 8pin header and started to test it. It was working fine for abit, then it started shorting out all over the place. I kind of regret not taking a photo, the back of the board was gone. Literally it now has a black pcb. But I trashed it. Truly a sad day as they are both very rear and a beast of a board.
Well the seller of the replacement was not very friendly and I don't have high hopes for the replacement.
I bought it on eBay from a seller in hongkong. Payed 41$ for ups 2day mail, shortly after seller stated tha 41$ would not cover the cost of shipping... he didn't ask for more money at first so I bet he's been down this road before. He offer to ship via a slower service then refund me the difference. I told him to try looking into the cost of other mail carriers. Well he more or less refuse to ship it 2day or even ems. Said ems would cost 7$ more and refused to ship it. I stood my ground and let him message me for a day. After he ranked up serval policy violations I threatened to get eBay involved, but he still refused. I left a nag feedback and told him he had 24 hours to get it shipped. That shut him up and he shipped it 2day.
I was more then far, I offered him to not only ship it via FedEx/dhl or anyone else but evan said he could ship it ems to save money.
I hope he learned his lesson, no one tells me to that it will cost 41$ to ship something only to state that it costs 80$. Its a hard lesson, but an important one. You can't say shipping will cost something only to ask for more after the buyer pays, certainly not on eBay.
