I've been looking at the hundreds and hundreds of 5.25" disks I recently obtained and this one caught my eye:

x4PJv0vh.jpg

It's labeled "Graphics Disk". The number below is probably a date (March 18, 1989), and it's labeled PC-MSDOS as well.

Hand-written on the sleeve are:

"Nude calendar"
"PCPG Graphics"

What "Nude calendar" software existed for MS-DOS back in 1989? Google simply returns random adult web sites when I try to search, unsurprisingly. PCPG must be an abbreviation for something, "PC Print <something>," google seems to think it could be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_PCPG.

Unfortunately all I have currently are 360k 5.25" drives, no high density, so I can't get any more information.

I still have some EGA-Manga stuff (640x350@16colors) very nice EGA. The VGA-Manga stuff does not look that nice.
And not to forget "mandy"/"more mandy". I have downloaded the tool which created the moving pictures (*.gl) to my XT with hercules, but I can't get the picture right on hercules 🙁
It's relatively simple (gfx-mode, picture name, placement, duration, etc.), but I did not get it working on hercules yet.
(btw. the original was CGA-Mono 640x200).

This is really amusing.

What are the rules to linking to something that might be slightly, slightly, SLIGHTLY not-safe-for-work if you squint real hard?

Exactly. I worked for an US based multinational for more than a decade, and even bikini clad women were considered as offensive. We were taking mandatory online courses every year to make sure we the employee understand the policy, and the consequences.

I think this is more the case for places where they have actual morality police. Saudi Arabia, for instance.

Nope.

The company I'm talking about is Ingersoll Rand, and no, I'm not living in Saudi Arabia or any other places with "morality (my ass) police". The policy was strict, applicable to all the branches/plants all around the world (65 percent of them in US soil, most of the remaining in Western Europe).

We are not talking about prosecuting people because of porn (porn is legal in Turkey, except of course excluding under age). We are talking about "porn might (legally) cause termination of your job contract, without compensation, due to company policy. That's all.
