i bought two ten years dual-Xeon servers in low profile U1 rack case
First is Supermicro X7DCL-i , 5100 chipset

I want remove both boards from noisy rack case and put into tower.
My question is if i can use some cheap and available cooler instead of low profile heatsinks with noisy turbine fans,
771 heatsink is rectange instead od square 775 cooler. Bul old P4 socket 478 used rectange holes position too.

Are mounting holes in same position as old Socket 478 boards and can i use plastic brackets and classic heatsinks from 478 board?

I write this question when i have both servers on way to me and cant inspect hole positions.

BTW: i found photo of the Intel D5400XS Skulltrail gaming platform with same server chipset and 771 socket but it looks like use standard desktop-type cooler like 775 boards.
