It should run fine on your comp. On mine it lags to no end, because my machine is too slow.
I have attatched the dosbox 6.1 config file I use with the game. Maybe you will find it useful.
Windows XP will not work with the memory system of the game, even with the windows patch. You need Win95 or dosbox.
