Hi, I'm on a laptop with win 10 x 64 and GeForce 1070. Downloaded latest SVN build http://www.emucr.com/2017/06/dosbox-svn-r4024 … 542564790347194 and launched. Took some time before it gets me to cmd, and while I was waiting for my screen was black. I closed DOSBox and launched again, this time the black screen was forever and nothing helped. I rebooted my PC.

In even log i saw Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

I'm kinda painly react on such errors. Is that normal for DOSBox to crash my graphics?

Okay, found reason for this:

"More insight into the issue: It seems to be GeForce Experience. Read on.

Just to confirm with GreatOldOne, the same issue happens with me as well with this driver version. The reason for the issue seems to come from the GeForce Experience Overlay. At least this is what is happening to me.

Example: I set the FPS counter set up inside GeForce Experience to display when I run a game. When I run a DOSBOX game (or just DOSBOX itself), the "Nvidia Display Driver stopped responding and was successfully recovered" error comes up at least once. After this the game runs. "
