Good evening,

I do have got what I believe is an old SCSI controller (50pin, maybe HS50?).
Sadly, I can't find any piece of information about it and
I have no clue how to configure the card. ๐Ÿ™

Installing the card as-is has no effect either,
no SCSI BIOS is showing up during boot-up.

This is what's written on the full-size ISA board itself:

WANGTEK ASSY 30850- (+serial number)
REVG2

BIOS is dated 1987 (CMS INC).

It conatins an 8085, 8257, a Fujitsu MB8128-15
and a pair of VLSI chips - VGC7212-0642, VGC7209-0641.

Has anyone an idea ? Please help, if you can. Any help is appreciated.

Wow, thanks a lot, Jepael! ๐Ÿ˜

So it is an older QIC controller model without SCSI ?
I had no idea something like this existed! I literally grew up with full-size QIC cartridges. ^^

My father used to use them to make backups every now and then, using that SyTOS software in DOS.
Really, I had no idea the older controllers were not SCSI-based! Little QIC models? Okay, they were floppy-based..
But these huge controller cards not always using SCSI ? I'm baffled. ๐Ÿ˜•

Eh, did you google "WANGTEK ASSY 30850"?

Yes, - I mean no. I did a little bit of research a few days ago before I installed the card the first time..
The last thing I remembered was that I wasn't able to find anything useful on the net.
Perhaps because I assumed it was all about SCSI. ๐Ÿ˜…

Edit: Found something. Wikipedia says: "Other QIC DC standards include the QIC-02 and QIC-36 drive interface standards.
Later QIC DC drives usually use the SCSI interface.
