I'm using an AWE64 Value in DOS and I'm using the AWEUTIL /EM:MT32 to emulate the MT-32 in Kings Quest 5 but as you probably already figured out, it sounds bad. I'm sure it is that way in many other games but birds under an MT-32 emulator in DOSBox sound like birds. Anything else, including the soundfont the AWE64 loads with AWEUTIL /EM:MT32, makes them sound like random horns.
So when you use AWEUTIL /EM:MT32 it loads the SYNTHMT.SBK. Is there an alternative SYNTHMT.SBK out there that would sound more accurate?
It would also have to fit in the Value's memory too (512k), not the gold.
